Constantine Semilyakoffs / Professor, University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Austria / Piano Online Public Lessons

Piano online public lesson with talented pianist Professor Semlyakovs of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna / February 2024, 2 (Wednesday) Limited to 14 people

In addition to performance activities and education, let's learn the world of "sound" that we do not yet know from a professor who is also studying synesthesia phenomena such as the appearance of sound and the supernatural intuition of musicians.

Konstantin Semilakovs was born in Riga, the capital of Latvia on the Baltic coast. After moving to Germany with his family at the age of 13 and graduating from high school, he studied piano with Professor Wolfgang Manz and music education with Professor Ulrich Hench at the Nuremberg University of Music. After that, he studied abroad at the Ecole Normal Conservatory in Paris and studied under Michael Vladkowski. After refining his talent, he won the international piano competition held in Porto, Portugal, and made the world aware of his talent. After making his debut with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra and Beethoven's choral fantasy, he performed in recitals and chamber music concerts at various music festivals. The performance is enough to make a discerning critic say, "Today, there are few young pianists who perform so well in this age group."As an educator, after working at the Nuremberg University of Music and the Mozarteum University of Music, he became a professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where he teaches younger generations. Semilyakovs is also a researcher of synesthesia in classical music in the first half of the 20th century (sounds appear to be colors, etc.).While taking a piano lesson, you may be able to hear interesting stories about the supernatural sensations of music and how musicians perceive it.
* Professors can take lessons from all ages (baroque, classical, romantic, impressionist, modern, etc.).He also teaches all eras at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

In fact, many students in Europe study through listening. Musical instruments other than the piano can also enjoy the atmosphere of overseas classes, so please feel free to join us. The teaching method of overseas professors is completely different from that of Japan. In particular, the main focus is to "enjoy and express music more", so the points to teach vary from student to student. Isn't it a big point for those who are aiming to study abroad or become a professional in the future to feel how the points of teaching are different from those in Japan? If you want to play an active role overseas, it will be an opportunity to think about studying abroad.
