Pianist Dmitry Kaprin studied at the Tchaikovsky Memorial National Moscow Conservatory in Russia under Eliso Virsalad, who was hailed as "the best Schumann player", to deepen his musicality and train him. In 1995, he won the Scriabin International Piano Competition, in 1998, the Jose Itulbi International Piano Competition, and in 2004, the Glasgow International Piano Competition. As a soloist, he has performed concert tours mainly in Europe and the Middle East such as Spain, Scotland, Hungary, Macedonia and Israel, and has also performed with the Royal Scottish Orchestra, Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra and the Russian National Symphony Orchestra.
