Belgian-born bassoonist Pierre Martens was fascinated by the instrument the moment he first picked up the bassoon at the age of eight. He fell in love with the bassoon and was so absorbed in this instrument that he forgot about himself, but at that time, the instrument itself was much taller than him. After that, he became obsessed with bassoon, went to the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, Belgium, went to the Conservatory of Music in Porto, Portugal, and was the former chief of the Cologne Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra in Germany. He studied under Professor Fitzenmeier and graduated with excellent grades. His professional career began to bloom early on, and at the age of 8, he started playing the bassoon of the Belgian Flanders Radio Orchestra Fagot. Three years later, he will move to the head of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra in Germany, one of Europe's most prestigious orchestras. He has performed in Europe, Tokyo, New York, Moscow, Sao Paulo and other parts of the world, and has performed wonderfully at world music festivals such as Salzburg, Lucerne and Edinburgh .As a solo artist, he has won many international competitions such as the Alexandre Tansman International Music Competition, and has also performed as an orchestra soloist. Also, a number of composers who like his bassoon provide songs. An educational enthusiast, he worked as a lecturer at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Ghent, Belgium and the Nuremberg Conservatory of Music in Germany, and now teaches as a professor at the Lübeck Academy of Music in Germany, and also conducts woodwind instruments at the Byreut Young Artist Music Festival. is doing. I love this bassoon, so why not learn from a talented professor and increase your growth potential?
