Stefano Parrino, a world-renowned flutist from Italy, graduated with honors from the prestigious Milan Conservatory "G. Verdi". He studied under such masters as Maxence Larrieu, Patrick Gallois, William Bennett, and Peter Lukas Graf at the Geneva Conservatory, the Paris Conservatory, the Royal Conservatory, and the Svizzera Italiana, and perfected his flute playing. He won prizes in various competitions, including the Schubert International Competition, and at a young age he became a principal and soloist with the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic Orchestra, and performed with such big-name performers as Anthony Pay (Cla) and Vladimir Mendelssohn (Vla), as well as conductors such as Lynn Harrell and Stephen Barrow.
