Sylvain Malézieux,, a world-famous saxophone player from Lyon, France, studied at the Lyon Conservatory of Music in order to master his favorite music, and then studied at the Paris National Conservatory of Music, the highest peak in France, under the longing Claude de Langle. In chamber music, he studied under Michel Morages (Fl) and Larslow Haddadi (ob) and graduated with the best grades. As an orchestra player, he has performed with some of France's leading orchestras such as the Orchester National de France and the Orchester Philharmonique Orchestra, and has performed under world-class conductors such as George Benjamin, Pierre Boulez and Yutaka Sado. He has been invited to many music festivals, and his performances at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, La Folle Journe (Nantes), etc. have captivated many spectators. But what makes him world-famous, after all, is one aspect of being a member of the Habanera saxophone quartet. Formed under the control of Drangle in 1993, this global quartet jumped into the world by winning first prizes and prizes in competitions around the world, including the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition. He has been touring in the United States, China, Japan, etc., mainly in Europe, and is in charge of alto saxophone. The number of concerts has exceeded 500, so you can see how amazing it is. He is also enthusiastic about education and obtained a teacher's license at the age of 20.Currently, he is a brilliant teacher who teaches his students at the French Evreux Conservatory (CRD) and the Habanera Saxophone Academy (summer course), teaching the wonders of music and saxophone. The enthusiasm is worth a thousand words, and once you take a lesson, you can understand it well, and he is a really recommended teacher. He uses a gold-plated Selmer alto saxophone (series III), a solid silver neck, and a Selmer S90 170 mouthpiece.
