Nicolas Keckert / Professor, Faculty of Music, Callidos University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland, former professor at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts / Violin online public lesson

A violin lesson given by the first German winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, which has been described as an ``absolutely convincing performance.'' /Tuesday, October 2023, 10 Limited to 10 people

Learn from a German violinist who has played with international orchestras from early on, has a rich repertoire, and has a reputation for teaching competition preparation.

Nicolas Koeckert was born into a music family with a long history, with roots in Germany and Brazil. I've been familiar with this instrument since my grandfather gave me my first violin when I was five. It was 5 years old that started full-scale specialized education. After studying at the Würzburg University of Music, he went on to the Cologne University of Music. After studying under Zakhar Bron and graduating from the school as chief in 16, he completed his master's degree two years later. Prof. Koeckert has participated in numerous competitions since he was a student and has achieved brilliant results. In 2005, he won the highest award at the Novosibirsk International Young Violinist Competition, and in 2, he became the first German prize winner at the Tchaikovsky International Competition, one of the three major competitions in the world. Also, as a soloist, he has performed with the Mozart Symphony Orchestra, the Russian State Symphony Orchestra, and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. With a wide repertoire from baroque to modern times, his performances are "absolutely compelling" and "in a casual and generous way to reveal that there are no obstacles to the technique and no limits to talent." It has been described as and continues to fascinate the audience on stage. He has been active as an educator from early on, has 2001 years of teaching experience at the Private University of Music and Arts in Vienna, and has held master classes in Germany and abroad. Currently, I am training young musicians as a professor at the Faculty of Music, University of Applied Sciences, Kalaidos in Zurich, Switzerland. This is a private lesson that I would definitely recommend to those who are thinking about preparing for the competition.

When deciding where to study abroad, the lessons given by a professor at the Faculty of Music at the Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences and a former professor at the Vienna University of Music and Arts may be a guideline. The professor is happy to share various kinds of music with everyone in Japan. Anyone can attend, regardless of age or level. It is especially suitable for those who are thinking about studying abroad in the violin, preparing for competitions and auditions, improving their level, and those who genuinely like music! Don't miss this opportunity! Due to the time difference, it will be held with a very limited number of people.

If you haven't taken lessons yet, you can listen to them. There is so much you can learn by not only playing for yourself, but also watching other people's lessons. In fact, many students in Europe study through listening. It is also an opportunity to listen to the performances of many other people, and through the lessons of various people, you will be able to better understand the teaching method and personality of the teacher. Musical instruments other than the violin can also enjoy the atmosphere of overseas classes, so please feel free to join us. The teaching method of overseas professors is completely different from that of Japan. In particular, the main focus is to "enjoy and express music more", so the points to teach vary from student to student. Isn't it a big point for those who are aiming to study abroad or become a professional in the future to feel how the teaching method is different from Japan? If you want to play an active role overseas, it will be an opportunity to think about studying abroad.

If you are thinking of studying abroad in Switzerland or other countries, you can try studying abroad while you are in Japan. Consider the possibility of studying abroad in Europe.

It's a great chance to meet an overseas teacher while you are in Japan!
Just thinking does not open the door to your dreams. There is only action. Don't miss this opportunity!
