After graduating from the Vienna Conservatorium Private Music Academy (formerly the Vienna City Conservatory), Othmar Müller founded the Artis Quartet as a cellist. The quartet won prizes in Cambridge competitions and gave concert series in Vienna. Othmar was also a member of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra before becoming principal cellist of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. He has performed at famous theaters around the world, including Carnegie Hall, and has performed at international festivals such as the Salzburg Festival. In addition, he participated in more than 30 CD recordings and swept prestigious music awards such as the Grand Prix du Disc Award. He is highly regarded for his musicality. The recording of Zemlinsky was awarded five stars by a French music magazine.
